Word games

Everything here, in one place.

Puzzles to play when you have ten minutes, and solvers for when a puzzle somewhere else has you stuck. All free, all in the browser, no sign-up for any of it.

Which one do I want?

Playing and solving are different jobs

If you want the satisfaction of working something out, start with the crossword or Sudoku. Both generate their own puzzles, both check your answers, and both will give you a nudge rather than the whole solution when you ask.

If you're part-way through a puzzle somewhere else and one answer is blocking the rest, the solvers are faster. The anagram solver handles jumbled letters and crossword fodder, the Scrabble finder ranks your rack by score, and the Wordle helper narrows a board down to the words that still fit.

A good hint sharpens your play. It should feel like a coach nudging you toward the answer you almost had — not like being handed the back of the book.
